Information about the 21st Creative Tartelettes Contest

Are you a chef, pâtissier, baker, confectioner or pastry chef from Switzerland and want to put your skills to the test? Then you’ve come to the right place!

In the HUG Creative Tartelettes Contest, recipes for one starter and one dessert dish must be created using the specified HUG tartelettes. The detailed contest specifications will be sent to you as soon as you register using the registration form below.

How does participation in the Creative Tartelettes Contest work?

Register for the Creative Tartelettes Contest by filling out and submitting the registration form (at the bottom of this page). You will then receive a registration confirmation by e-mail.

What happens after my registration?

  • Delivery of sample box with tartelettes and specifications for the competition (from March 2025).
  • You create your recipes for two plates in accordance with our specifications: an appetizer plate and a dessert plate.
  • You send us your creations to ctc@hug-familie.ch by Monday, August 25, 2025.
  • We will confirm your entry.
  • The jury will select 5 finalists per category (apprentices/trainees) in September 2025.
  • You will be informed immediately if you can take part in the final.
  • Cheer up if you didn’t quite make it: A great consolation prize awaits you.
  • For finalists: Live cooking in front of the jury on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Richemont, Lucerne.
